It’s no surprise that Giving Tuesday UK is on a Tuesday. It comes directly after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, two days in the year when consumerism hits record levels.
Each year Giving Tuesday asks everyone to counter that consumerism by giving back and boosting radical generosity. Launched in 2012, Giving Tuesday is now a global phenomenon.
