Every month we profile a member of our team. This month we spoke to our Legal Operations Executive, Lynsey Braddock about life at London Law Collective. And there’s more in the video below.

We started by asking Lynsey to tell us a little bit about herself and her role at LLC.

I’m the Legal Operations Executive at LLC. I know it’s cliched to say, but I’m lucky that no two days at LLC are the same and my role is very varied. My job is to support the CEO and the fee earners. My role is an administrative one, that includes producing invoices, making sure that clients are onboarded including helping to ensure that all client and Anti Money Laundering checks are carried out thoroughly, as well as other duties such as booking meeting rooms and ensuring that all our client information is up to date. It’s not all administration though, and I do get to organise enjoyable things like Christmas parties and other social gatherings that I really enjoy.

Tell us about a time that you achieved a professional or personal milestone.

I always wanted to return to work in London after looking after my family and working locally for 10 years. In all honesty I was a little scared to see whether there would be any opportunities open to me in London, especially as I am now 50 years old. But, getting an opportunity to work at LLC has proved to me that fortune does favour the bold, and I am so glad I took the plunge to seek out this role. It truly has been the best decision I have ever made.

Tell us something we may not know about you.

I am a massive Soul music fan. I have spent a good part of my life following the soul music scene around the UK, whether that’s at a weekender, a party on a river boat or at festivals. I have met some of my closest friends at these events, even my husband to be! Soul music has and will always be a huge part of my life.

What does a typical weekend look like in the life of Lynsey?

When I’m not enjoying one of the many Soul music events I go to, I love nothing more than spending time with my family, running and doing yoga.
