In the latest in our series of profiles of our amazing team, we hear from our Paralegal Fehime Cekic on what life is like at LLC and what she enjoys doing most in her free time. And there’s more in the video below.

Fehime, tell us a little bit about yourself and your role at LLC.

I’m a Turkish qualified lawyer with two years of experience working as a paralegal at London Law Collective. My focus is predominantly in corporate, commercial, and employment law and I often assist fee earners across various legal matters. I love what I do including getting involved in new things every day.

Tell us about a time that you achieved a milestone at work, personal or professional.

Moving to England in 2021 as a Turkish qualified lawyer, with English as my second language, and being aware that my qualification wouldn’t be recognized here, was a bold and significant move for me. I can say that working in a legal industry in England now for almost two years and especially working for such an amazing B Corp firm, London Law Collective, would be one of the biggest milestones in my life. It’s been quite the journey, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.

Tell us something we may not know about you!

I’m just a passionate travel addict. Exploring new destinations and different cultures definitely fuels my sense of curiosity and adventure. The thrill of planning visits and travels adds a significant boost to my motivation, both in the workplace and in my personal life. It’s the perfect blend of excitement and challenge that keeps me driven and inspired in life.

What does a typical weekend look like in the life of Fehime?

I’m all about organization and planning, so my weekends are far from being spontaneous. Whether it’s exploring new places or enjoying long walks with my dog, Ollie, there’s always something on the agenda.
